As one of WDOC’s largest facilities located in Rawlins, Wyoming, the Wyoming State Penitentiary (WSP)  consistently seeks dedicated Correctional Officers to join its team. While the WSP is the State’s high-custody facility, it encompasses so much more.  WSP houses the male Youth Offender Treatment Program, a dog program, educational programming, a high custody intensive treatment program and a significant number of inmates are involved in the operation of prison industries as well as the day to day operations. In addition, programming and treatment are prioritized resulting in a safe, well run facility with high staff retention and positive inmate outcomes.

With a total uniform staffing cadre of approximately 177, correctional officers have the unique opportunity to be a part of a close knit team and truly make a difference in a simple community.
